Curious to know what's included and what's not included in your travel?

✅ On-site Services

Your investment is divided as follows: 42% for accommodation and meals, 18% for the 24-hour local team, 12% for school materials and improvements, 15% for logistics and preparation (8% transportation + 7% training), 9% for community impact and safety (5% emergency fund + 4% micro-grants), and 4% for monitoring and auditing. Each portion ensures simple comfort, well-equipped classes, and ongoing support for the community.

✅ Airport Pickup at Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport

Fly into Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport (CUZ) in Cusco any Sunday between 06:00 and 19:00. Our driver will meet you inside the arrivals hall, help with luggage and transfer you (≈20 min) to your hostel in the historic center. There you’ll spend two acclimatization nights, meeting fellow volunteers before we shuttle the group to the Sacred Valley. If your flight arrives outside the stated window, we can arrange a private pick-up for a small extra fee. Return airport transfers are optional and can be booked with us as well.

✅ Accommodation

Living with a rural family in Peru’s Sacred Valley offers a genuine immersion into Andean culture. Surrounded by mountains and fields, volunteers join the community’s daily life, learning local customs, and sharing meals made from fresh, homegrown ingredients. The experience blends simplicity, warmth, and an authentic connection with nature and the traditions of the Quechua people.

You’ll have your own room with complete privacy!
The bathroom will be outside the room.
In addition, you’ll have the rest of the house to yourself, sharing it with the local family.

✅ Food & Beverages

You’ll share three home-cooked meals a day with your Quechua host family; think quinoa porridge or fresh fruit for breakfast; hearty soups and rice-and-veg stews at lunch; and evenings of pollo a la brasa, lentils or stuffed peppers straight from the family garden. Filtered drinking water is always provided, and tea made from local muña or coca leaves helps with the altitude. Vegetarian, vegan and most allergy-friendlydiets can be accommodated with prior notice, but expect simple, rustic fare sourced from nearby markets and the family’s own fields.

❌ Flight Tickets

The nearest airport is Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport (CUZ) in Cuzco. We assist you to find cheap flights to Peru.
