Meet Volungo Abroad
Volungo Abroad is an international provider of logistics, communications, and services for humanitarian aid projects, offering you an opportunity to volunteer in Latin America. As a social enterprise, we partner with small organizations and individuals dedicated to creating a positive impact in their communities. We support local non-governmental organizations (NGOs), non-profit organizations (NPOs), and private development initiatives.
Our Commitment
We offer a platform that connects organizations in Latin America with essential resources to help them achieve their goals.
This includes skilled volunteers, technology, and capacity-building support, as well as relief supplies, construction materials, and assistance across administration, education, environmental, and healthcare sectors. Our commitment is to serve as an online advocate and catalyst for change.
Our Approach
Volungo Abroad identifies projects in need and, once they are verified as accountable, we send volunteers to collaborate with communities and supporters. Together, we assess challenges and design sustainable solutions, such as microfinance initiatives. Each project’s entire lifecycle – from initial identification and evaluation to ongoing monitoring of project locations and development initiatives – is thoroughly documented.
Our Goal
We amplify out partner’s projects by utilizing diverse media and platforms to bring their causes to a global audience. Our goal is to create a dynamic mobile communications platform for our partners, providing ongoing documentation across Latin America countries. We aim to foster a deeper undestanding of local social issues, benefiting both our projects and their supporters, and to make humanitarian aid initiatives accessible and comprehensible.
